The 4 “You” Fest is a fun day of promoting a healthy and active lifestyle while giving to the Lloyd Trotter Scholarship The concept of our 4 “You” Fest event is to take a holistic approach that targets each member of the AAF and the surrounding community on being a better “You” in 4 areas: Family, Finance, Fitness, and Fun. The goal of this festival is to promote a better lifestyle for you and your family through awareness of healthy eating, financial freedom, and lifestyle options while providing fun and engaging activities that the entire family can enjoy. The AAF believes that all 4 elements must be intertwined for ultimate family growth and success. This will be a day of excitement and fun, learning more about how to be a better “You”. About the Lloyd Trotter Scholarship: Since its inception in 1995, the Lloyd Trotter Scholarship has generated more than $1.88M, raised by GE employees, our community partners and families. This scholarship fund has been essential in helping to make the college dream a reality for deserving and talented students. Our 2015 Houston-wide campaign generated $50k, and the GE-wide campaign generated over $100k, exceeding $200k with GE Matching Gifts. The company’s 2015 contributions enabled 40 GE interns to receive scholarships across GE business nationwide. We are excited about this year’s campaign and our 4 “You” Fest, which will allow us to continue to support scholarships.
